Delhi HC summons director of movie “NYAY: The Justice” for manipulating information of Late Sushant Singh Rajput

Late Actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Mr.K K Singh has moved to the Delhi High Court and filed a petition against the filmmaker of the movie for utilizing Sushant’s personal life, name, image, lifestyle in the form of the biopic. Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri issued the notice contending that any publication, production, or depiction of the private life of the actor is undisguised and a violation of the fundamental rights of privacy, it was also stated that none of the makers of movies comes forward to seek consent or permission for the movie.

Plaintiff does not only seek an injunction against the makers of the movies named “Nyay: The Justice” or “Suicide or Murder: A star was lost” and “Shashank”. It also looks for Rs. 2,00,02,200 as the damage for such unpleasantness caused by the movie makers for the loss of reputation and mental trauma, harassment they have caused. The plaintiff was made by Advocate Vikas Singh.

The late actor was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on 14 June 2020, what happened there was still a mystery. He was last seen in a movie named “Dil Bechara”.
