Latest Report says that Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K K Singh has been allowed to approach for a single judge over the release of the film based on SSR’s life. Delhi High Court has granted the liberty to SSR’s father in the ongoing case.

K K Singh had approached Delhi High Court to seek ban on the films based on SSR’s life. Singh stated that a film has been released on an ‘Obscure’ website and even sought a stay on the film. Earlier, Delhi Court refuses to stay on the release of the film and also advised SSR’s father to resolve the dispute by speaking with the makers outside the court premises. However, the court has now allowed Actor’s father to approach for a Single Judge on the release of the film Nyay : The Justice.

The report mentioned that a bench of two judges said that the parties were “free to advance their stand” before the single judge in the view of the fact that the film Nyay: The Justice is now released digitally. As per the report, while disposing the appeal, the division bench said, “Contentions of the appellant (Krishna Kishore Singh) will be examined in the background of the film that is available on Lapalap Original website.”

The report further mentioned that the division bench clarified that if the producers of the film will intend to make any changes, the information on the same will be communicated to SSR’s father KK Singh. As per the report, Singh would then be at liberty to approach the single judge if so advised.

For an uninitiated, a division bench was hearing an appeal filed by KK Singh against the single judge order that refused to stay on the release of the film Nyay : The Justice. Other than Nyay: The Justice, some of the other upcoming movies based on the life of the late actor are – Suicide or Murder: A star was lost, Shashank and an unnamed crowd-funded film.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment on June 14, 2020 in Mumbai.
