Dharmendra Deol shares an emotional video paying tribute to late ‘brother’ Dilip Kumar

Dharmendra Deol recently shared a touching video on his Twitter handle paying tribute to the late actor Dilip Kumar. Dilip Kumar took his last breathe at the age of 98 at a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday, July 7. He was hospitalized for breathing issues. Dilip Kumar was born as Yousaf Khan in 1922 in Peshawar (now in Pakistan). In 1930, he along with his family migrated to then Bombay where he pursued his career as an actor.

Dharmendra shared the video on Twitter and penned as “Dosto, Dalip Sahab ki rukhsati par … mere …aap ke runde runde jazbaat ye … uss Azeem fankar… uss neek rooh insaan ko…. ek Shradhanjali hai . woh chale gaye ..un ki yaadein na ja payegi”. The fans took to the comment section to show their love as soon as he posted the video.

Dharmendra also shared a photo of himself yesterday in which he seems emotional, holding the mortal remains of Dilip Kumar at the funeral while sitting on the floor. “Saira ne jab kaha. “Dharam, dekho Sahab ne paplak jhapki hai ” Dosto , jaan nikal gai meri. Maalik mere pyaare bhai ko jannat naseeb kare. Dosto , mujhe dikhwa nahin aata lekin main apne jazbaat par qaaboo bhi nahin paata . Apne samajh ke kah jaata hoon”, he wrote.

The legendary actor Dilip Kumar was laid to rest with full state honor at Juhu Qabrastan, Santacruz Mumbai on Wednesday with his family’s presence.
