Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal reminiscenced his ‘theater days’ in a throwback post on social media

Popularly known as Jethalal Champaklal Gada aka Dilip Joshi has won millions of hearts for the last 12 years and is continuing to do so. The actor has gained so much of popularity that he has now become a household name. His character in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is very fun-loving. It has been more than a decade now that he has been entertaining us.

Some time back, the senior actor took down his memory lane and recalled his good old days from the time when he used to be a theatre actor. For those who do not know, Dilip Joshi before entering into television and Bollywood industry he performed acts in the theatre.

This is the time when he was completing his graduation (B.Com.), he was awarded the INT (Indian National Theater) Best Actor award twice. Exploring the ‘Throwback Thursday’ trend, Dilip Joshi shared some beautiful memories from his days in theatre, which dated back to the year 1983.

While sharing the picture on his official social media handle he captioned it as, ‘1983. The green room at the legendary Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, just before we were about to go live with our play ‘Khelaiya’. Lots of fond memories from that time with the entire cast and crew, especially Chandu Bhai, Paresh Bhai, and the one and only Mahendra Joshi!’

He also shared pictures from his young days where he is looking very handsome. Many of us have not seen this look of Jetha Ji. His pictures have grabbed a lot of attention. In the picture, we can see him flaunting his beard look. Dressed in cool casuals with a cowboy hat, Dilip Ji looked unrecognizable.

 Meanwhile, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently completed 3000 episodes, achieving a huge milestone on TV.
