Divya Dutta needs no introduction, she is among the finest actresses of the industry, and her work is enough to tell us how excellently she delivers every given. Not just in the Hindi movie industry, she has also worked in numerous Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, and English movies.

For those who don’t know Divya Dutta has worked in more than a hundred movies. She was born in Ludhiana, Punjab in 1988 and her mother raised her. Divya Dutta’s mother was a doctor at a government clinic.

She had a keen interest in acting when she was only four years old. While giving an interview, Divya once said that she used to watch Amitabh Bachchan’s movies a lot and he is her biggest inspiration. Divya further said Amitabh Bachchan’s Khaike Paan Banaraswala used to be one of her favorite songs in childhood.

She made her debut in acting in the year 1994 with the movie Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna. Before Bollywood, Divya used to do modeling for regional TV commercials in Punjab. Along with this, she has also done dubbing work for Lisa Ray. Divya has dubbed Lisa Ray’s movie Kasur as at that time, Lisa was not able to speak Hindi properly.

Divya Dutta slowly started appearing on numerous Bollywood movies and she has performed various supporting roles. In the year 2018, she also won the National Award for her movie Intention which has an IMDB rating of 8.3. Along with the National Award, Divya has won more than 25 awards for both Big and small screen. Along with films, Divya Dutta has also appeared in ‘Special Ops’ and ‘Hostage 2’ web series.
