“Game of Thrones” and “Last Christman” actress, Emilia Clarke, is all set to wrap up a deal with Marvel Studios’ “Secret Invasion!”
“Game of Thrones” star, Emilia Clarke is closing a deal to join the Marvel Studios productions, “Secret Invasion,” a trendy original series on Disney Plus. The character to be played by her in her first Marvel role is being kept a secret but it is known that she will be working with Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Olivia Colman. However, both, Marvel Studios and Clarke’s representatives have chosen to remain silent on the subject.
Clarke has previously been nominated for four Emmys for her role as ‘Daenerys Targaryen’ on HBO’s worldwide hit “Game of Thrones,”. She has also been nominated for several Critics’ Choice Awards and won the BAFTA Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year in 2018. She is a founder of the AMPAS and was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People. “Last Christmas,” “Me Before You,” “Terminator Genisys,” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story” are among her film credits. She will appear in the forthcoming animated film “The Amazing Maurice” as a voice actress.
In the series, Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while Mendelsohn will reprise his role as the Skrull Talos from the feature film “Captain Marvel.” The series follows a gang of shape-shifting aliens who have been infiltrating Earth for years. ‘Ben-Adir’ is the main antagonist and Kyle Bradstreet will script and executive produce the film. Kevin Feige’s studio is in charge of making the series for the streaming service, as it is with all other MCU titles, including the blockbuster “WandaVision”.
