Actress Vidya Balan is back on track with her upcoming project. The Kahani actress is all set to start the filming of Sherni, the film in which she will play the female lead. The initial location for the filming is Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh.

As per reports, the filming is likely to kick-start by the end of October. The filming for the flick has been resumed everywhere now after a long break because of the pandemic situation. But safety is the biggest concern for the filmmakers.

Many artists of TV shows and movies have already got affected by the pandemic. Amid all this, the makers are finding it hard to adjust locations, fix the financial issues, arrange the accommodation and travel, and above all continuing the work maintaining all the precautions. In these circumstances, the makers of Sherni have roped in an agency, who will look after the safety rules on the set thoroughly.

The report said that the cast and crew of the movie will reach Nagpur first and then go to the final destination from there. There will be people from the unit who will carry the equipment via road transportation. A team of 5-6 members has been made and they will serve as pandemic watchdogs. The pandemic watchdogs will monitor whether the guidelines are being strictly followed or not on the sets while the filming is in progress.

The makers are reluctant to take any risk and they have consulted the experts from the professional agency too, for additional safety measures. The agency has recently helped ad makers to conduct their filming safely.

The report said that the team ‘Sherni’ will be adopting the bio-bubble approach of the filming. They will be put up at five-star hotels in Gondia, which is just 1-hour away from Balaghat’s jungles. They have also jammed banquets and eateries in these hotels to confirm that the squad does not come in contact with outsiders.
