None of my films gave me such boost, says Priyamani on ‘The Family Man’ success

Priyamani’s joy knows no limit as her role in The Family Man was praised and won numerous awards at an event. She has bagged the best supporting actor nomination for the upcoming award function organized by the Mid Day.

She said in an interview that doing the role of  Manoj Bajpayee’s wife and coping with her busy life in the web series was different for me and I enjoyed playing it. Working with Manoj Bajpayee was among the greatest experiences, she further added. The audience loved her performance in the series.

She has also done numerous Bollywood and South movies including Mani Ratnam directed Raavan (2010). Before getting nominated for the best supporting actor, she has come a long way in the cine business.

After hearing about the nomination, she said, ”None of my films gave me such a boost and I am happy that I was a part of such a successful web series.” Talking about her Bollywood journey, she has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express and also did a role in a comedy movie One Two Three Four in the year 2013.

Coming to the web series The Family Man, it’s one of the most-nominated series for the award function. The whole team is rejoicing a total of six nominations, including Best Series, Best Creator, Best Actor (Male), Best Supporting Actor (Male), Best Supporting Actor (Female) and Best Writing.
