Genelia Deshmukh is expecting a comeback on screen with a strong character

Over the years there have been many actresses who decided to take a break from screen after they got married or embraced motherhood. These actresses made their family their priority for some time as they wanted to concentrate on their families for some time. Genelia Deshmukh is one such actress. She has been away from screen for quite a while now, but looks like, she is ready to make a come back now.

Genelia was very clear from the start that she will take some time off from work to concentrate on her family. And as the actress married the Bollywood actor, Ritesh Deshmukh she decided to take some time off camera. Now, the actress is ready to make a comeback, and while talking about it she revealed how she’s been waiting to explore new characters.

After getting married to Ritesh Deshmukh in year 2012, Genelia took a break from the screen and spent time with her husband. Soon she embraced motherhood as she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in the year 2014, Riaan. After that in year 2016, the couple was gifted with another baby boy, Rahyl. Though she missed facing the camera, she enjoyed her time with her family.

According to the actress, after marriage she got busy with a different phase of her life. The phase where her kids were young and they needed her. But now, Genelia believes that her kids are settled in her own space and thus, she thinks this is the right time for her to make a comeback. The actress mentioned that she wanted to give undivided attention to her craft because she loves being an actor. She said that there are no two ways about it.

She added that she is excited to see the kind of content Bollywood is coming up. According to her, she connects with strong characters. Genelia said that it should be something that she will enjoy with all her heart. Genelia’s last releases include, Hindi film, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and Telugu venture, Naa Ishtam in 2012.
