As the actor has been trying to get back into films and create the same charm with his performances. The Partner actor is gearing up for his upcoming film release Fryday which is a comedy flick.
The actor has been on and off in his career since the past few years and has no problem when people use the term ‘comeback’ for him. He says, “I will come again and again. This is part of life. Everyone has a different opinion. So people will say what they feel like saying. You keep on giving successful films.”
Govinda and filmmaker David Dhawan were one of the best director-actor jodi of the 90s and have given blockbusters like Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Saajan Chale Sasural to Haseena Maan Jayegi. However, their fallout a few years back made a lot of news. While the audience still yearns to see them teaming up again in future, Govinda shared his side of the story.
Chi Chi said, “It has been 10 years now since I have met him. I have my own thinking and an opinion. When David Dhawan was yet to establish himself, even then, I worked with him. Now he is David Dhawan and he is a top director and filmmaker, and there is no restriction from my side, but I have my way of working and thinking and without changing that whoever wants to work with me is most welcome. I don’t want to force anyone.”
Govinda’s upcoming release Fryday also stars Varun Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala, and TV actress Digangana Suryavanshi.
