A shopkeeper from Gujarat’s Ahmedabad has now filed a complaint against Raj Kundra’s company with the Mumbai crime branch and cyber police alleging that he has been duped of Rs 3 lakh. According to the trader, Kundra’s firm had taken him under the pretext of making him a distributor for an online cricket skill-based game. A police official said that the police are verifying the complaint and will decide accordingly on registering an FIR.
According to the complaint filed by the shopkeeper, Hiren Parman, he was promised to be made the distributor for ‘Game of Dot’ by Viaan Industries. Well, the company failed to keep its promise, following which he asked for a return of Rs 3 lakh he had invested, but didn’t receive a response, the official said.
Hiren Parmar claimed that he had filed the complaint with the Gujarat cyber department in 2019, but no solid action was taken, the official said, adding Parmar approached the Mumbai police after Kundra was arrested for allegedly running a mobile application for distributing pornography. The officials also informed that Parmer has revealed about many such frauds by Kundra’s company. He also said that Viaan industries has cheated people with Crores of money.
Raj Kundra is currently under police custody for his connections with the App that serves adult film content.
