Hailing from Mexico, Juan Pedro Franco just registered his name in history. He is only 34 years old who lost almost 300 kg in the last two years. Earlier, he was the world’s heaviest man weighing 595 kg (the weight of nearly 10 adult men) and now he is  304 kg after a number of series.

In the year 2016, Juan made the headlines when he went through a life-saving treatment when he was gaining nine kilos every year and his financial status was also bad that did not allow him to stop his unhealthy ways.

According to a report, Juan said, ”When I was six I weighed almost 60 kilograms, and that was not because I didn’t take care but because it was a disease I was born with.” After an accident at the age of 17 and his conditions worsened. “My body just followed its own path without any control whatsoever,” he said. “I tried to diet day after day, but nothing worked and I became desperate.”

This is the very first time, Juan gets out of his bed, walk, wash and get dressed and now aiming to lose 138kgs more.

Have a look at the tweet where he was giving his interview…

It reads, “I want people to become aware. I’m very happy I want to take it to be on the lookout for a prevention informative project called How much weights, which will start next year. ”

Juan talked with the newspaper Milenio and said, “Before, I took around six to 10 steps and then I had to sit down. Now I can walk more than 100 steps, even 10 laps of 40 steps. It’s a breakthrough”.

He has now lost the Guinness World Record for being the heaviest man in the world but it’s good though! And we wish he gets better day by day with such a willpower and inspires many.
