It’s a special birthday for Bhumi Pednekar this year, as she turns 30 tomorrow. The Shubh Mangal Saavdhan star, will have a working birthday. The actress returns to the sets of her next, Pati Patni Aur Woh, in Lucknow and will start filming tomorrow.
“This year, Bhumi’s birthday was going to be even more special as she is turning 30. She always celebrates her big day with family and friends. It’s an annual ritual for her to throw a party. But, this won’t be possible as an important sequence needs to be filmed and the shoot falls on her birthday. The actress, who was in Mumbai for a couple of days, had to return to Lucknow to join her co-stars Kartik Aaryan, who plays her husband in the film, and Ananya Panday. Bhumi will have a month-long, non-stop filming schedule in UP’s capital city,” says a source.
However, the actress’s family is ensuring that she has a mini-celebration with them in the city of nawabs. Her mother and sister are travelling to Lucknow where they have planned a dinner after she wraps up her shoot. It will be a quiet, intimate do, as the family wants to spend the evening together because they won’t be able to see Bhumi for an entire month.”
On the work front, other than Pati Patni Aur Woh, the actress will be seen in ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, alongside Tapsee Pannu. This is one of the most awaited films of this year, will be directed by Tushar Hiranandani and is being produced by Anurag Kashyap.
The story is based on the life story of Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The siblings, who belong to Uttar Pradesh, are considered to be India’s oldest sharpshooters. Taapsee and Bhumi will be seen playing the sisters, who took up the sport in fifties.
