Recently, he talked to media people and shared many things related to his upcoming series, work, life and shift from Bollywood to TV after starting his career as a child artist in a hit movie.

About Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, he stated that when they did that, they all were uncertain about the fate of the movie. But he feels really lucky that he could be a part of Hritik Roshan’s debut movie and wants to thank Rakesh Roshan for getting him this special chance. After the movie got released, he used to get wonderful responses from people.

”Agar aap mere abhi gaal dekhenge to vo us picture ki wajah se hi bahut bade hain. As whoever used to come and compliment me, they pulled my cheeks first, saying ‘oh God ye kitna cute hai’. Because when I finished the work I was just 9-year-old. But yaa at that age also when people used to come towards me and say that you have done a good job, I used to feel really nice”, Abhishek stated.

On his shift from Bollywood to TV, he stated that the major reason was that he didn’t carry on doing Bollywood films as he took a leave for his studies. After finishing his schooling, he went directly to the stage acting and he did a play with Paritosh Paintal and Delnaaz Irani called ‘Paying Guest’. Later, he started his special journey with the show ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’.

When asked about foraying in Bollywood and whether TV actors don’t get accepted easily, Abhishek responded that there was a time when people there used to say that they didn’t want to cast TV actors. But currently the scenario has transformed and to prove that, there are so many good examples like Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor who are fantastic on all the mediums.

”I personally feel that people are now just dragging that topic and we should now stop saying that. All I understand is the audience simply wants good acting and fresh faces now”, the actor stated.
