The Mumbai high court on Wednesday has temporarily restrained Kamal R Khan as known as KRK from posting any defamatory content against Salman khan on social media. KRK has said that he didn’t receive any copy of the court’s order. He also mentioned that he never said anything defamatory against Salman Khan.
This all started when last month, Salman khan sued Kamal R Khan aka KRK over defamation. While Kamal R Khan responded by saying that it was just retaliation of an adverse review of Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai. Whereas Salman’s lawyer made sure that the suit remains in response to allegations of corruption and money laundering against his brand Being Human.
According to PTI, KRK was restricted by a Mumbai court on Wednesday from sharing any defamatory posts against Salman Khan. “A good reputation is an element of personal security and is protected by the Constitution equally with the right to the enjoyment of life, liberty and property”, the court concluded. This temporary prohibition shall be continued till the final verdict of the court is declared.
KRK was found exceeding the boundaries of freedom by the court and made defamatory remarks on Salman khan’s film which are actionable. “If the defendant (Kamaal Khan) is permitted to continue the use of such defamatory words against the plaintiff (Salman Khan) they will cause irreparable loss to the image of the plaintiff in the society,” the court said. The court is adjourned till August 2nd.
