Iconic TV show CID to go Off Air After completing 21 years, Knowing it Fans aren’t Happy

CID the most famous show of the Indian Television Industry is going off- air and fans are shattered after hearing this news as their all-time favourite detective show is going away from the screens.

The iconic show has been running from21 years and made it the longest running detective show of the Indian Television. Dayanand Shetty, who plays the role of Daya in the legendary show, himself confirmed the news to Times Of India and said that on 27th of October the final episode will be broadcasted he said, “We were in our 21st year and had we shot for a few more episodes, we would have entered our 22nd year. It is quite an unfortunate thing to happen as we were shooting like always and suddenly we were informed by our producer that the shooting has been called off indefinitely because there were issues with the channel.”

Further, he added, “I am going to miss the character, but we feel sad for the audience as they enjoyed the show and it was doing well. The entire cast and crew are very dedicated towards their work and we are like a big happy family. We are going to miss each other as this was our second home.”

Fans are unable to bear the news of the show going off-air, before the show got vanished after its last episode in July without giving a clue of its return day, now knowing this news fans turned heartbroken.
A new campaign named #saveCID have started on social media is emerging shows the excruciating pain which the fans and show lovers are having with the off going show.

The series is a fictional investigative show which was a huge success show consisting of criminal cases that are taken heads on and dealt with Crime Investigation Department members including ACP Pradyuman, Senior Inspectors Abhijeet and Daya and Inspector Fredricks, Sub-Inspectors Purvi and Pankaj and forensic experts Dr Salunkhe and Dr Tarika.
