“I’m always known for middle-of-the-road cinema” Ayushmann Khurrana talks about his success story

Ayushmann Khurrana’s success story is one mandatory motivational story if you came to Mumbai to pursue your life long dream of becoming an actor. He started his journey with Roadies but today he is one of the most amazing and credible actors out there in the Bollywood Industry.

After his start with the small screen industry, Ayushmann Khurrana won the hearts on the big screen with his role of a sperm donor in 2012 in Vicky Donor. He was later failed with Nautanki Saala!, Hawaizaada and Bewakoofiyaan but he returned with the biggest hits of all time with Dum Laga Ke Haisha as a school dropout, who hesitantly marries an educated but overweight girl.

But today, actor Ayushmann Khurrana says he is known as a middle-of-road cinema which is a mixture of critical and commercial success, “It’s a default setting for me to choose novel content. I’m always known for middle-of-the-road cinema, where there is a collaboration of critical and commercial success. He continued giving the successful hits with Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun. He next movie will be Article 15, Dream Girl, Bala and gay love story Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan – which is said to be another installment of 2017 release Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. He is all set to be seen with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film Gulabo Stobo. When he was asked about stepping into Direction and Production of a film, Ayushmann said “I would love to produce and direct at some point, but as of now, I’m content with my acting and music,” said the actor
