Television’s most popular dance reality show, India’s Best Dancer has won viewers’ hearts via its great content and high entertainment quotient. The level of rivalry has been going up with each passing week. Both, the contenders together with their well-known choreographers are all set to deliver exceptional acts this weekend.
The forthcoming chapter of the super-duper hit show this weekend will rejoice the pious festival of Raksha Bandhan. The great contestants, ace hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh, and the renowned judges – Geeta Kapur, Malaika Arora and Terence Lewis will also celebrate the big and auspicious day.
All of them remember their beloved moments with their sibs.
Contestant Adnan, who is from Assam, together with choreographer Sushant showcased the lovely and emotional connection between sibs via their special dance performance. This made Adnan miss his lovely sisters. But, he did not know that his sisters had actually reached the sets to watch him performing. When he saw them, he got emotional. This also made Malaika nostalgic about her childhood days with sister Amrita Arora.
Recalling their childhood days, Mala stated, “Parents give you direction in life and support you. But our siblings also support us, and that is something we should be happy and proud about. I have taken care of Amrita in our childhood days when my mum used to go to work. Everything, from eating to getting her ready to go to school, I used to help her do all her work.”
The diva added that she still remembers that Amrita used to go to the washroom in school after taking approval from her tutor on the condition only if I was present there. Amrita has been like her own kid.
“Now that she has her own kids, she behaves like my older sister, she gives me advice. We share a close and strong bond. We have had our share of days where we would fight, not speak with each other, but she was always the first one to say sorry whether it was her mistake or not,” she added up.
After contender Adnan and judge Malaika recalled their special times, Adnan enjoyed some fun-filled time with his sisters, Nirju and Mayni. The contender also enjoyed homemade biryani that Nirja and Mayni brought for their lovely brother.
An emotional Adnan stated, “I have missed them. I couldn’t even stay two days without them. When Sushant sir explained the concept to me, I could relate with it, it’s coming from a real space, a real feeling.” Looking at Adnan being emotional on stage, even Bharti couldn’t hold back her tears and started crying on the set as she missed her sibling.”
