The ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranajit has been making headlines for her controversial remarks and reasons. On Tuesday, an FIR was filed against her for using insulting and abusive language against the Sikh community in an Instagram post.

The FIR was lodged at the suburban Khar police station a day after the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) submitted a complaint against the actress and has been booked under section 295A (a deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting it’s religion or religious belief) of IPC. It is a cognizable offence, which means that the police can register an FIR on a complaint lodged by a private citizen without any kind of prior judicial oversight. The offence is non-bailable and non-compoundable.

Taking to her Instagram story, Kangana reacted to the FIR with a bold throwback picture of herself to express her reaction and captioned it, “Another day, another FIR. Just in case they come to arrest me. My mood at home”. The picture is from her 2014 photoshoot, in which she is posing with a glass of drink in her hand and wearing a thigh-high slit skirt with a black bralette.

She gave such an outrageous statement because Prime Minister Narendra Modi repealed the farm laws which infuriated her inside out. She outraged the respect and dignity of the Sikh community by claiming that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi crushed Khalistanis like mosquitoes.
