In a career spanning eight years, the Sri Lankan beauty has won millions of hearts with her million-dollar smile and perfect curves. Jacqueline rose to fame when she starred in her Bollywood debut, Aladdin, back in 2009. Since then, her stardom grew from strength to strength.

Today, the actress celebrates her 34th Birthday. Ahead of the big birthday bash, Jacki is already on a vacation and has been posting pictures that are setting up the internet on fire. On Jacqueline’s birthday, we bring to you some interesting lesser-known facts about the actress:

1) Jacqueline has worked as a tv reporter

Born in Bahrain and brought up in Sri Lanka, Jacqueline moved to Sydney to study for a degree in ass Communication. After completing her graduation, she worked as a TV reporter in Sri Lanka. She is able to speak fluent French, Spanish and Arabic.

2) First music video

Jacqueline was crowned Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. After winning the title, she appeared in her first music video titled “O Sathi” by Sri Lanka duo Bathiya and Santhush. After that, she made it into the acting industry.

3) Entry into Bollywood

Jacqueline debuted into Bollywood with 2009 Aladdin that gained her recognition in the industry. Her first box office success was the third film she starred in, Murder 2, a Bollywood thriller. The film was a huge success and earned $6.2 billion in its opening weekend. But it was Salman Khan starer Kick which became a turning point in her career.

4) She owns a restaurant in Sri Lanka

This beauty with brains is a great businesswoman too. She owns a restaurant named, Kaema Sutra in Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Japanese Chef Dharshan. The speciality of this restaurant is the continental menu which also has items from her grandmother’s recipe book. She herself is a good cook and consider cooking as a good therapy!

5) Jacqueline and her association with PETA

Jacqueline is associated with PETA, which works for animal rights in the whole world. She lent her support to ban the carriage pulled by horses in Mumbai.
