Jacqueline Fernandez serves meals to people, quotes Mother Teresa: “Peace begins when the hungry are fed”

Jacqueline Fernandez was seen in Mumbai while she participated in the meal distribution drive at Mumbai Roti Bank, an NGO that her You Only Live Once (YOLO) Foundation has partnered with. She also posted her photos on Instagram of the drive, in her photos she was seen serving needy people as well as cooking a meal in the kitchen. Jacqueline captioned her post as “Mother Teresa once said, ‘Peace begins when the hungry are fed.’ I was truly humbled and inspired to visit Mumbai @rotibankfdn today, which is run by a former Mumbai police commissioner Mr D Sivanandan. Roti Bank has prepared and distributed meals to millions of hungry people to date, even during the pandemic. They are the perfect example of what #kindnessbrigade aspires to do and I am honoured to be of help to them during these times. We only live once! The Roti Bank Foundation also posted on Instagram about the drive and said,  “A special THANK YOU to Ms. @jacquelinef143 You truly made our day special! Our highest gratitude and appreciation – we are so grateful for your support. We wish you the best of luck and success in your noble and charitable endeavour! Ever since the lockdown took over the city of Mumbai, Roti Bank got right at it to make sure no one’s left hungry. Today we have successfully distributed over 1 Crore meals and we plan to continue our efforts with your help as well #OnePlateAtATime #WeAreInThisTogether.”

Bollywood celebs are coming forward to help others in these tough times, Jacqueline has also added her name to the list of these celebrities, on the work front Jacqueline was seen in a video song from Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai named ‘Dil De Diya’, the actor would be seen in upcoming movies like Bacchan Pandey, Attack, Cirkus, Bhoot Police and ram Setu amongst other.
