One of the cults for the 90s generation, is the renowned movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ‘ of Karan Johar and we are still not over it, from “Rahul is a cheater” to “Tussi jaa rahe ho,” to Tina’s dressing sense to Anjali’s Haircut. Everything was being replicated with the release of the movie. Even the songs of the movie still make us jump up every time and the movie has finally completed its 20 years.
But recently the Dhadak star Janhvi Kapoor astonished all of us with her surprising statement in Koffee with Karan’s sixth edition where the actress sat on the couch along with her step-brother Arjun Kapoor.
Janhvi Kapoor made our heart sank when she uttered about the Karan Johar’s directorial movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, now you will all wonder that how the one movie done actress Janhvi is connected to the movie. Well, the actress made an unexpected confession on the show Koffee With Karan. She admitted that she did not watch the movie until a few weeks ago. Isn’t this really surprising to all of us?
The star girl made everyone gasping on the sets of the show, as a few weeks ago the actress shot her first ever episode of Koffee With Karan and on the rapid round Karan asked what’s one Bollywood movie film you’re embarrassed to have not watched and she said Kuch Kuch Hota Hai but later the actress said, “But then I saw it a few weeks later and I realised that every film I have seen and loved as a millennial Indian cinema lover I could trace things back to this film”.
It is being said that Alia Bhatt had also confessed that when she saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, she got heavily inspired by Anjali and her looks. So she used to sport the haircut of Kajol during her childhood days. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor, who has been his Dhadak student, didn’t have any memory associated with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai because she hadn’t seen it at all. Considering how close the film is to his heart, it seems that he wanted all his protégé to watch the film. So he made Janhvi watch the Shah Rukh Khan film.
