Diwali celebration returned with a roar in 2021, following a year of fairly sombre celebrations. While India has some COVID-19 rules in place, many celebrities have chosen to spend the festival of lights with close family, sweets, prayers, and loving greetings to their followers.

Bollywood stars had a blast celebrating Diwali. The celebrities shared images from their Diwali festivities with their fans, and they were also caught attending large Diwali parties. The large bashes were attended by Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Dia Mirza, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and many others. Among the Bollywood stars that celebrated Diwali with their families were Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, and Priyanka Chopra. They shared photos from the celebrations on social media.

When I say that Diwali excitement is real, I believe I speak for everyone. Meaning, practically everyone gets excited about Diwali because of the cuisine, the outfit preparation, the card parties, and the lovely decorations. Which is why it’s always so much fun to observe how our favourite Bollywood stars choose to celebrate the event! It’s always interesting to see what they wear, cook, and do. Let’s have a peek at how these B-town celebrities celebrated Diwali this year.

Big B’s Diwali celebration with family:

This year, Amitabh Bachchan, who used to throw lavish Diwali parties, observed the festival of lights in a more sedate manner. He used his blog to tell his fans about how he celebrated Diwali. Big B was previously seen visiting their former home, Pratiksha, for Diwali puja with wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda, and grandchildren Aaradhya Bachchan and Agastya Nanda.

Alia Bhatt shared a few images from the event. One very cute picture with beau Ranbir Kapoor. Ayan Mukerji and the two were seen at Kali Puja together.

In typical Diwali night form, Yami Gautam gave us warm fuzzies by posting gorgeous images with her husband and family with fairy lights glittering in the background.

Ekta Kapoor with a star-studded Diwali bash, the Indian producer boosted the glitter factor. Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, Krystle D’Souza, and Hina Khan were among the celebrities who attended the event. Mouni Roy, who is frequently in Dubai, and Saif Ali Khan’s eldest son Ibrahim Ali Khan were also present at the ceremony.

With husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons Taimur and Jeh, Kareena Kapoor celebrated Diwali. “The only one who can distract me from posing,” she captioned a family photo. “Happy Diwali insta famlove you all…….”

Many other Bollywood stars were seen at various Diwali celebrations. Sunita and Anil Kapoor threw a party at their home. Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were seen arriving to the celebration together.

It’s almost always a certainty that when Deepika Padukone publishes a photo, she’ll dish us a dazzling fashion outfit. So it’s no surprise that she appeared in a Diwali look photo looking as stunning as ever.

Vicky Kaushal, meanwhile, won our hearts yet again with a lovely photo of himself with his parents. The celebration also happened to coincide with his parents’ anniversary, according to reports.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a lovely photo of herself and her husband Nick Jonas performing Lakshmi Puja together on Instagram.

Janhvi Kapoor shared a snapshot of herself with her father and sister from Anil Kapoor’s Diwali bash on Instagram. And, yeah, they were all quite attractive.
