Javed Akhtar responds to Kangana Ranaut’s “bheekh” comment, here’s what he twitted

Lyricist Javed Akhtar, on Thursday, spoke back to actor Kangana Ranaut’s “bheekh”(handout) remark. While talking at a summit Kangana Ranaut stated that India’s freedom was once a “bheekh”.

Taking to Twitter to slam Kangana for her wrong use of words, Javed Akhtar wrote, “It is totally understand. Why would all those who had nothing to do with freedom movement feel bad if some calls our freedom just a “bheekh”.

A case too has been registered against her for her “bheekh” remark.

The Padma Shri awardee, stated in the Summit, “…Blood will go with the flow. Nevertheless it must now not be Hindustani blood. They knew it they usually paid a worth. In fact, it was once now not freedom however bheekh (alms) and we attained actual freedom in 2014.”

This is not the first time Kangana has been involved in controversy. She is in fact now famous for her controversial statement and remarks which has made her contemporaries set against her.
