The recipient of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan award rings his 74th Birthday. The entire cinema world is thankful to Javed Akhtar for delivering such qualitative dialogues to the Bollywood industry. Born on 17th January 1945, the Indian screenwriter was born to songwriter Jan Nisar Akhtar and Safia Akhtar who was a great singer and writer of her time. Though his birth took place in Gwalior Madhya Pradesh, he spent most of his childhood in Lucknow.

On his 74th Birthday, we took a flashback to his achievement and found some of the unforgettable dialogues written by him. So keep calm and go back to the time of 90’s remembering his dialogues.

1. “Don Ko Pakadna Mushkil Hi Nahi, Namumkin Hai”-

The dialogue from 1978, superhit movie Don is still uttered by many people. It was even reused in the sequel of Don 2 featuring Shah Rukh Khan in 2006.

2. “Ae Bhai Koi Hai”

Dilip Kumar starrer movie Mashal had this dialogue which grabbed huge attention by the audience.

3. “Mogambo Khush Hua”

Amrish Puri delivering this dialogue in the movie Mr. India made him won several hearts but we can not forget that it was written by Javed Ji which still is famous among the audience.

4. “Yeh Police Station Hai, Tumhare Baap Ka Ghar Nahi”

Big-B went on receiving applaud after his movie Zanjeer, and the popular dialogue of the movie that brought change in Amitabh’s life was written by the Birthday boy ( Javed Akhtar)

5. “Jo Dar Gaya Samjho Mar Gaya”

This was one of the most popular and renowned contributions by the Jodi of Salim-Javed to the Cinema World from the legendary movie ‘Sholay’.

6. “Insaano Ke Paas Ek Cheez Kamaal Ki Hai… woh Hai Zubaan”

One of his recent prolific work is in the movie Dil Dhadakne Do which had an ensemble cast of B-town stars of two generations.
