In the latest development of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan’s alleged suicide case, the special CBI court refused permission for further investigation in the case.

To this, the late actress’s mother said, “After reading the order issued today by CBI court Mumbai what I find interesting is that the honourable judge had heard all the parties submission and he must have recognised the importance of CBI’s lack of findings, their analysis and contradictory answers that is creating severe doubt how the case has been handled, and how prematurely CBI has even produced a charge sheet without having taken the evidence on the Dupatta found on Jiah and BBM phone messages into consideration.”

Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who was reportedly in a relationship with Jiah Khan, was booked under the charges of abetment to suicide on the basis of her suicide note which mentioned her and Sooraj’s “intimate relationship” and “her physical abuse and mental and physical torture”. She had committed suicide on June 3, 2013.

While the CBI wanted to probe the case further, Pancholi’s lawyer Prashant Patil objected, saying that the High Court and Supreme court had already taken their decision on the said matter. Special judge A S Sayyad dismissed the pleas after hearing the arguments.
