John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Satyameva Jayate are all set for the Wednesday release that is August 15. The film is based on the story of corruption and patriotism. To add the glamour in the serious film director put Nora Fatehi’s groovy Dilbar.
When John asked what he will deliver to his audience he said, “Who’s the good guy, who’s the bad guy? There are a twist and suspense in the film so I think you need to see it.” Both, John and Manoj are playing the role of cops in the film. He also said, “We heard a script that was fantastic and we all decided to do it. There are so many docu-dramas that are happening, and biopics, that for a change this has come as a breath of fresh air.”
However, the film is directed by Milap Zaveri who is popular for his adult comedies. Well, this film is gonna clash with Akshay Kumar’s Gold.
And, regarding that lead actor John says,“Akshay is a friend and I will only hope that Gold does well. I love him and he feels the same. We are not so close but we speak generally also. We have the same lifestyle and on screen we have the same physicality. We are happy throwing each other around. When we meet we love spending a lot of time with each other and hopefully we work with each other soon. I love the comedies I did with him. I saw Garam Masala recently and felt it was really funny. It was simple and not adult. I would like to do something like that now, or even something like Housefull.”
Zaveri only took one and a half months to write Satyameva Jayate. He is very keen to work on this story for 18 years.
