Multi-talented actress Kajol, who has attained great heights in her Bollywood career and the most popular actresses during 90s, stated that she “never wanted to be an actor”.

The daughter of veteran beauty Tanuja impressed the critics as well as the viewers with her great acting skills.

The 44-year-old actress stated that she supposed that it “wasn’t worth the money that was being paid out.”

Ajay’s wifey said, “I never wanted to be an actor actually. I didn’t think of it was worth the money that was being paid out. I didn’t think it was worth the effort and I definitely thought my mother worked too hard for whatever she was doing and however we were at that point of time.”

Kajol, the mom of two, was on a small break from her acting profession. She went on a break after the 2015 movie Dilwale. However, she returned to the big screen with the 2017 Tamil movie Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, co-featuring Dhanush.

At the present time, she is busy promoting her upcoming flick named Helicopter Eela. The film has 19-year-old National Honor-winning star Riddhi Sen and Neha Dhupia.

The movie is said to be based on Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play named Beta Kagdo. In the movie, Kajol will be witnessed donning the character of a single mom, who wants to be a singer. The movie will reach theaters in January 2019 and it has been helmed by Pradeep Sarkar and it has been co-produced by Kajol’s hubby and actor Ajay Devgn.

Ever since Karan Johar declared his forthcoming directorial venture, Takht, hearsays have been doing the rounds that the movie will feature a guest appearance by Kajol.

Kajol was one of the leading ladies of Karan’s debut movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and she has worked in several movies of his, which comprise Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan.

But, she has dismissed hearsays about any connection with Takht, stating “I am not doing anything other than Helicopter Eela. I don’t know where these reports are coming from.”
