Kangana Ranaut challenges CMM’s order rejecting the plea against the case filed by Lyrist Javed Akhtar

As per the latest reports Queen actress, Kangana Ranaut moved the sessions court against a lower’s court order rejecting the actress application seeking transfer of the criminal defamation case filed against the actress by none other than lyricist Javed Akhtar on Friday.

Reportedly, the CMM (Chief Metropolitan Magistrate) had dismissed the actress plea seeking transfer from Andheri Magistrate’s court in October. Queen actress’s review application was filed before the Borivali sessions court through an advocate named Rizwan Siddiquee said the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate failed to appreciate that the magistrate had misused his powers to cause injury to the applicant.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut said she had lost faith in the Andheri metropolitan magistrate’s court that it indirectly threatened to issue a warrant against the actress if she failed to appear before it.
Lyricist Javed Akhtar filed the defamation complaint in November 2020 before the Andheri court over statements made by Queen actress during a TV interview.

Talking on the work front of Kangana Ranaut
The actress was last seen in the films included Panga, Thalaivii and Dhakkad and is next to be seen in the film titled Tejas as per reports.
