Based on the real-life story of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi and her conquering over the British rule is a more of an action movie.

When the director of the movie, Krish wanted to look out his other projects as well, multi-talented Kangana came to rescue and took all the responsibilities of being a director. While talking to DNA about her film, the actress said, “It was important to establish the genre and the film’s scale as this biopic can be made as a human story since her tale is extraordinary or as a biopic in Hollywood style like Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi. We decided to make it as an action film and have communicated that through our teaser. It’s not the promo as we have not yet released any dialogues, scenes or storyline.”

The beautiful actress also said that it was her decision to release the trailer on Gandhi Jayanti i.e., October 2. Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni and Zeeshan Ayub will also be seen in the movie playing pivotal roles which will hit the screens on January 25, 2019.
