Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at people asking for fire cracker ban during Diwali; asks them to walk to their office for 3 days instead of using cars

Amidst they joy of Diwali pouring in, Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress, has some advice for environmental activists concerned about pollution caused by Diwali firecrackers. On Wednesday, Kangana shared a video of Sadhguru discussing the ban on firecrackers while reminiscing about his childhood memories of Diwali on her Instagram stories. In the video, he discusses how he looks forward to lighting firecrackers months before Diwali and how he saves some for later.

“He is the one who produced the global record of green cover by planting millions of trees,” Kangana said in response to those who favour the ban on firecrackers ahead of Diwali. She went on to say, “Perfect answer to all Diwali environment activists walk to your office don’t use cars for three days.”

This message comes just hours after Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s daughter and director, wrote a passionate letter condemning the practise of blowing fireworks as “outdated” and “irresponsible” during Diwali. She commented on her social media account, urging people to refrain from using firecrackers, “Bursting crackers is not only dated but grossly ignorant, inconsiderate and irresponsible. Stop doing it, it’s so 19-never.”

Kangana Ranaut is currently enjoying the success of her latest film, ‘Thalaivii’, after receiving the National Film Award for ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Panga’. Kangana played the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the film. The film had a theatrical premiere before being made available on Netflix.

‘Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’, ‘Emergency’, and ‘The Incarnation: Sita’ are among Kangana’s next flicks.
