Panga movie starring Kangana Ranaut fell directly on the face on the big screen. The movie didn’t connect with the audience and somewhere lacked the key engagement element that the audience was expecting from her. Recently, Kangana Ranaut spoke about the not so good business of the movie Panga. The movie was directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and it only made Rs. 40 crore around the world.
Kangana in a meeting with a media house pointed finger on the other movies released during that time slot. She said that the movie got tough competition from two big-budget movies that were Street Dancer and Tanhaji and because of that even after putting so much hard work in it, the movie did not perform as expected.
She further expressed, ”It felt very bad when the movie didn’t perform well on the big screen and by now people can enjoy it on the digital platforms that also pay you a good amount. It was a learning experience for me and I am somewhat happy about whatever happened.”
Earlier, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel had spoken about Panga film’s performance. She had composed on Twitter that they expected only one movie will be giving them competition but there were two movies and that was the reason the movie failed on the big screen.
