Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account suspended due to provocative tweets on West Bengal election

Kangna Ranaut’s Twitter account got suspended on Tuesday after her series of tweets on West Bengal Election results. Kangna Ranaut was penalised by the Social Media platform, earlier this year for her tweets against Amazon Prime regarding ‘Tandav’ after her tweet saying ‘time to take (the makers’) heads off’ for hurting religious sentiments.

Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter Account Suspended for violating Community guidelines

A Twitter spokesperson told NDTV that Kangana’s tweet was in violation of the platform’s Abusive Behaviour Policy, which prohibits ‘targeted harassment of someone, or (inciting) other people to do so’. “We prohibit content that wishes, hopes or expresses a desire for death, serious bodily harm against an individual or group of people and take enforcement action when we identify violations which could include placing an account in read-only mode,”

Twitter is trending with Kangana’s Twitter account suspension, meanwhile many of the tweets have been found repositing her deleted tweets, Swara Bhaskar has posted a tweet today with a screenshot of Kangana’s deleted tweet, which says ” In [email protected] calls Modi a riot-monger”.

Along with Kangana Ranaut’s trending hashtags, there are also tweets raising concerns about the violence raised in Bengal after the elections.
