Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli have been slammed by many for their language and firing people in the Bollywood industry for no reason and one of them is Taapsee Pannu.

Taapsee, who appreciated Kangana and her trailer ‘Judgmental Hai Kya’, was targeted by her sister Rangoli Chandel on Twitter. Rangoli slammed Taapsee for not mentioning Kangana’s name while praising the trailer of the film, and went as far as calling Taapsee a ‘Sasti Copy’.

The issue escalated quickly and netizens responded by slamming Rangoli for taking sly digs at others, Taapsee in this case. Anurag Kashyap who is very close to Taapsee lashed out at Rangoli for going too far, but Taapse maintained her dignified silence.

The actress was asked about the recent rift between her and Kangana and how Anurag fought on her behalf, and she responded by saying, “Not just Anurag, a few other close friends from the industry also wanted to retort, but I stopped them because I don’t want to give her any mileage on my behalf. She can’t play the nepotism card with me because I’ve also struggled to reach where I am today. I didn’t want to engage in a word battle because I would not be able to match their language”.

On being called a sasti copy, Taapse had the most brutal honest answer, “I didn’t know there was a copyright on curly hair, which I was born with, and honest opinions. I’m not going to apologise for it. As far as being “sasti” is concerned, Kangana claims to be the highest-paid actress, so I guess I am the “sasti” version”. Well, kudos to Taapsee for such a sporty response.

It’s high time, Kangana’s sister Rangoli should understand not to handle social media so carelessly.
