The actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is enjoying his good phase both professionally and personally. For a long time, Kapil was nowhere seen on the small screen. His fans were anxious to know the reason behind his absence. But his comeback with The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2 has made us all excited for his new laughter pills. Recently, he got married to his longtime lady love, Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018. Ginni acted like a backbone in Kapil Sharma’s good and bad phases of life. And this made their relationship more strong.
Post their marriage, both Kapil and Ginni are sharing and spending a good time with their families. Ginni is extremely close with her mom-in-law, Janak Rani. On January 13, she shared an adorable birthday post for her mother-in-law with a cute post on her Instagram handle. She captioned the post as, “Happy birthday mumy V luv u so much…Stay Happy m Healthy always.” She also tagged Kapil Sharma in the post.
In Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Kapil had a conversation about his wedding. He told, “We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish.” He further adds, “My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realized that ‘abhi age ho rahi hai’. So, I thought what if she says ‘No’ and after one two years, no one agrees to get married to me.”
Once Ginni’s father rejected Kapil’s marriage proposal. Talking about this Kapil shared, “When I start earning well, my mother took my marriage proposal to her family, which got rejected. Inke papaji ne bade pyaar se bola,’Shut up’. Thereafter, I got busy with work, while she pursued MBA in finance. I guess, she kept studying to avoid marriage proposals. At that time, I was settled in Mumbai, and so much was happening in my life. I then realized ki itna kuchh hus hai, but isne kabhi mujhe disturb nahi kiya. Itna patience kisi mein nahi dekha maine. Jab ye sab gadbad chal rahi hi, that’s when I decided that it was the right time to marry. It was my decision, because of ye to padhai kare jaa rahi thi (laughs). So on December 24, 2016, I called and told Ginni that I wanted to marry her. My mother has always been fond of her.”
