Karan Johar embraced parenthood in 2007 and adopted two kids through surrogacy and named them Yash and Roohi. Taking to his social media Instagram, Karan Johar shared a beautiful post in which the filmmaker had shared, “I was 44-years-old when you were born to me, and almost immediately you made me as sentimental as a Hallmark greeting card. I spout clichés on how magical the two of you are, how you have filled the vacuum in my life and how you made my house a home, but it’s true.”
Karan kids Yash and Roohi are quite popular among social media users and since the day, dad Karan introduced them, it takes only a few minutes for their picture to went viral. The two munchkins are favorite to many and everytime they papped out, Paparazzi makes sure that they captured each and moment of them with granny Hiroo Johar or their nanny. While talking to DNA, the director opened up about how his and his mom’s lives revolve around Roohi and Yash. Karan said, “My mom is a mother-cum-grandparent-cum-obsessive-grandparent (laughs). She’s in their nursery 24×7. It’s come to a point that she’s become their official nanny or nurse. She’s a helicopter grandma and she does everything amazingly. I’m the supervisor who gets all the information on them.”
KJo added, “Every hour, I get an update, which can be a video or pictures of the two kids. When she’s not around and I’m there, I have to keep her posted. We both have nanny cams attached to our phones. In fact, my mother has stopped watching Bigg Boss and now is watching our own reality show in my children’s nursery. So yes, Bigg Boss has been officially replaced by the nanny cam in my house.”
