Popular Filmmaker, Karan Johar is in the headlines on a regular note. The doting father of two adorable twins, Roohi and Yash, usually faces a lot of negative comments on social media. Johar set a revolution by being a single father when he chose to have kids via surrogacy. A lot of people lauded him for such an incredible decision, whereas there were many who took a dig at the filmmaker.
And recently, things went on more ugly when a twitterati wrote something that disturbed Karan on a high level. Karan also decided to give a befitting reply to shut the mouths of people with sick mentality.
The Twitter user blamed Karan for keeping his children away from motherly love. Well, the tweet has been deleted now but still, we have got our hands on it.
The user wrote, “I have no problem with ur choice, but bcz of ur choice ur two babys r living without their mother. Despite of having a healthy living mother, they cant feel her love. U know that mother love is devine in this crucial world.”
Looking at the tweet, Karan gave it back and replied, “Ma’m!! With all due respect! Get a life! There are larger issues the country is combatting at the moment and it can very well do without your narrow mindedness! My babies are being LOVED and that’s all that matters…and FYI they have a mother!! My mother! Get it!”

In a recent interview, Karan Johar spoke about parenting. ”Being a single parent is really daunting and scary. Because I think it takes a mother and a father to complete the upbringing of a child. In many ways, you could say that having Yash and Roohi is full of love but it is also a selfish decision. It is because I want that love for myself. There was a large empty space in my life that needed to be filled by children. Oddly, they call me dad and call my mom (Hiroo Johar) ‘mama’. They don’t call her daadi. Because I feel we are co-parenting them. So I am trying very hard that both of us fulfill the roles of mother and a father completely.”
Meanwhile, Karan Johar is busy with multiple projects that include Kesari, Kalank, Student of the Year 2 and Brahmastra. Moreover, he will also be directing a period drama titled Takht.
