Actor Karan Singh Grover has taken the term ‘eat right’ to an extra mile in his personal life. He has a solution to save the environment and keeping his diet ‘right’ by creating an organic garden within his kitchen.
The actor has planted herbs, samplings, climbers and vegetables etc in a part of his kitchen, so as to make it a beautiful home farm full of fresh veggies.
As per a source close to Karan, “Known to be a fitness enthusiast, Karan believes in living the organic way. He is of the view that eating right also means eating unprocessed and chemical-free food. Identifying organic fruits and vegetables is difficult, so he advises that the safest bet is to cultivate them at home.”
While many of us are concerned by the continuous harmful effect of fertilizers, pesticides and more in our fruits and veggies, Karan seems to have found a solution. As per the actor, by growing fresh veggies at home, not only will a person be able to eat healthy food, he will also contribute towards the environment.
Talking about his organic garden, Karan says, “I am very happy with the way the garden has turned out. You don’t need large spaces to bring about change. A small garden in the kitchen, balcony or by the window will do as well. Eating organic produce is the foundation of eating right. I can’t wait to make more additions to the garden.”
While reports of added chemical use in veggies to meet the surreal demand from public increase multi-folds, Karan’s idea of a home garden may prove to be a big breakthrough.
On the work front, Karan has been appreciated for his work in the web series BOSS: Baap of Special Services. He returned to television after a gap of six years to portray the role of Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
