Kareena Kapoor Khan After Success Of Veere Di Wedding Hikes Her Fees

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first film Veere Di Wedding, after the birth of her baby boy, Taimur was a successful one and she is all kinds of happy. The movie also starred Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania. She got all the necessary appreciation for her role in the film and now there is a report that she asked for the remuneration hike to 50%.

As per the recent source, “Though Veere was a four-girl project, the film’s opening and initial footfalls can be credited to Kareena’s stardom. It is only fair that she capitalise on her star power, which is why she has increased her fee for the next few films. She apparently charged a ballpark figure of Rs 7 crore for Veere Di Wedding. Her upcoming films will have her quoting Rs 10 crore-plus, negotiable depending on the number of days she is required to work on the project and the value she is bringing to the table.”

On the professional front, Bebo will not be only seen in Takht but she will also be playing the lead role in Good News opposite Akshay Kumar. The film will be based on surrogacy and, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani will play pivotal roles. Well, in Takht actors like Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen playing the pivotal role in historical magnum opus.

On the other hand, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar announced the release date of Good News and tweeted, “#GoodNews IS HERE! Bringing a fantastic cast of @akshaykumar, #KareenaKapoorKhan, @diljitdosanjh & @Advani_Kiara to the big screen with our debutant director @raj_a_mehta! This DRAMEDY’s due date is 19th July 2019! @apoorvamehta18 @ShashankKhaitan @DharmaMovies #CapeOfGoodFilms”
