Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are the most popular actresses in Bollywood. While it was reported that, Katrina and Deepika are not on talking terms, Deepika proved the reports to be false by leaving a comment on Katrina Kaif’s recent video. A couple of days ago, Katrina Kaif took it to Instagram and shared one of her slow-motion videos. In the video, the actress is seen making an amazing look in red.
Katrina captioned the video, “Heading into the weekend (with a dash of red) like.” The video appears to be from a photoshoot. Deepika Padukone was among the first celebrities to leave a comment on Katrina’s post. Deepika was so overwhelmed with the video and commented, “Stop it” with a heart-eyed emoticon. Apart from Deepika, several other celebrities including Varun Dhawan and Dia Mirza also commented on Katrina’s new red avatar.
Earlier, there were reports that Katrina and Deepika are not on talking terms. But Deepika Padukone invited her to her wedding reception, putting an end to the rumours of the duo not sharing a cordial relationship. And now her comments to Katrina’s new post clearly states that the divas are sharing an amicable bond.
Last year in December, at Star Screen Awards 2018, a video of Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif took rounds on the internet in which the two were seen hugging each other. Looking at the video, it seems that Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh played as a peacemaker between his wife and Katrina. In the video, both, Deepika and Katrina are seen hugging like good friends. Take a look:
Earlier, when Katrina Kaif appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan season 6 said that she is pretty much excited about the wedding and was looking forward to an invitation to Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding. The Zero actress quoted, “I’m really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and go to attend… I might not be invited for any but that’s a separate thing. But in my mind I’m looking forward to an invitation,” Katrina had said.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif is currently shooting for Bharat. The movie is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Along with Katrina, the movie also features Salman Khan. The film is based on Korean war drama An Ode To My Father.
