While promoting his next film De De Pyaar De, Ajay Devgn made a shocking claim. He was talking on the sets of the Kapil Sharma Show and revealed various admissions about his past life. During the show, Ajay revealed how back in the day, he and Akshay Kumar were the ones who would end up shooting for 9-10 films in a year. He insisted that it is because they were true-blue Punjabis and high on stamina.
The actor made another candid admission stating that back in the ‘90s, he would wear the same jeans to multiple film sets and would only change shirts in order to save time during shoots, according to a report in ETimes. Yes, that is true, he actually did that.

While it may come as a shock to many fans, Ajay admitted doing this to save time for himself. While nowadays, many new-age actors who change clothes between shots let alone wearing the same to different sets. However, such kind of practice was not unheard of before the millennials became movie stars.

In fact, Amitabh Bachchan Bollywood’s biggest name also revealed that he used to wear clothes his own wardrobe in movies on various occasions. He stated the example of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Chupke Chupke, the clothes that his character carried in the whole film were, in fact, Big B’s own clothes.
On the work front, After De De Pyaar De, Ajay Devgn will be seen next in Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and reportedly has Kajol in the film. Add to that, it was reported recently that much like he did in Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s Simmba, Ajay Devgn will make another cameo in Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s film Sooryavanshi, which is set to release on Eid next year.
