There were already rumors that Kangana Ranaut has taken over the director’s hat for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi after director Krish stepped down from the big project. The news took all over the place stating a clear tiff with Kangana Ranaut and the filmmakers. Later, Kangana continued the project as the director.
The reports suggested that Krish has completed the project successfully and delivered the final outcome to the filmmakers. But the writer Vijayendra Prasad said that some extra scenes need to be added to the film. Where Krish said that no extra scenes are necessary. Later, Kangana and Vijayendra together stood against him and kicked him out of the film.
A source to a leading magazine said, “Actually, Krish completed the shoot and gave the first copy to the makers as promised, on time. After seeing the first copy, writer Vijayendra Prasad suggested adding a few more scenes, and Kangana agreed. But Krish, who had committed to the Telugu film, said that those were not necessary and he didn’t want to do it again.”
There were also reports of Kangana being a temporary arrangement as the filmmaker was busy with other projects.
