Kriti Sanon is one busy actor in the industry today. She has been singing for the movies now and then, the actor has recently packed up her shoot for ‘Bhediya’ with Varun Dhawan. Kriti has a successful 7-year long career to date, in her next project ‘Mimi’ and her first woman-centric film, she plays a role of a surrogate mother. Kriti has delivered great roles in her movie like ‘Bareily ki Barfi’, ‘Panipat’, ‘Dilwale’ and many more, but her next project will bring her new shade of acting for the audience, Kriti also wanted to do such a film she once said in an interview.

The makers of ‘Mimi’ have completed the entire shoot and post-production of the film but they didn’t want it to release it on the web and decided to wait for the situation to get under control and then go for a theatrical release. The second wave has hit so hard that the chance for theatrical release is zero. According to the source of Bollywood Hungama,  “Dinesh Vijan has inked a huge deal with a big streaming giant to premiere Kriti’s Mimi, along with a few other projects that are already in place. While the team wanted to release their movies in theatres and even tried the same with Roohi, the current situation looks extremely bleak for theatres to even think of reopening. It doesn’t seem likely in the next three months, because there is a possibility of a third wave.”

The source added “Dinesh has checked all possibilities and finally decided to go online with Mimi. He has earned a good profit and is expected to make the announcement soon.” Apart from Mimi, Dinesh Vijan is contemplating a digital release for Sunny Kaushal’s Shiddat as well.
