In Kunal Kohli’s Ramayan, Ravi Dubey Will Play The Role Of Laxman

As we know Hindi epic Mahabharat is in the pipeline and it will be funded by business tycoon Mukesh Ambani in the project helmed by Aamir Khan. Another Hindu mythology is in the process by director Kunal Kohli. Yes, Kunal will make a film on Ramayana.

Kunal Kohli talking to the leading daily said, “I’m producing and directing a movie on the Ramayana. I’m casting relatively new actors for it.” The epic story of mythology Ramayan will be made in two parts.

Being, a director Kunal has a story ready and he had taken this to many producers but everyone refused and not ready to invest in it. But, finally he got his investor on board and the film will go on floor soon.

According to the leading media daily’s report, “Kunal has roped in a south Indian actor to play the role of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram and is planning to cast TV actor Ravi Dubey for the role of Laxman.”

Earlier, talking about the project the filmmaker has said that the Ramayan will not retell or adapt from the previous version but this will be totally the epic one. He said, “I’m making it like the epic is. I’m excited about it.”
