He further added, “We can be called the carbon copies of our characters. The way onscreen. Manit and I are seen sharing a warm rapport. similarly off screen too Manit is the same. He gives me all the warmth and makes me feel like a younger brother. He pampers me. takes care of my moods just the way an elder brother would do. Manit understands what I have to say just by my body language. Talking about Shraddha. She and I constantly are up to some pranks on each other just the way Karan and Preeta are. Our masti is never-ending. We keep pulling each other’s leg and constantly irritate each-other. Our off-screen bond is really strong and that just reflects onscreen. I have believed that the first vibe you get from someone is the most important one. I got the right vibe from him when I first met Manit and we instantly gelled along. I also saw the same vibe in Shraddha. We actually all clicked along really well and that has worked great for the show too. I am very close to Shraddha, Manit, my reel grandmother. Ruhi is also a great friend. Everyone on sets is just fab.”

On the other hand, when he asked about his association with the show, Dheeraj said, “I was the first one to have been cast for Kundali Bhagya. I was the first on board for Kundali and the rest of the characters and cast were finalised. I left Sasural Simar Ka in March and by June. I was on board for Kundali Bhagya. But I had always wanted to work with Ekta Kapoor. I had decided to make it happen and Kundali was like my dream come true. I was also excited to play the role of a cricketer. Going forward, in my career, I would love to do any supernatural or Naagin oriented shows too. I would love to be called as Ekta’s blue-eyed boy.”
