Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was anticipated to be one of the biggest movie of this year. The movie was remake of Hollywood movie Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. The Hindi version of the movie also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite Aamir. However, the movie’s performance went against it’s expectations as it was affected by ‘Boycott Bollywood’ trends.
The movie, however, is doing quite a decent job on OTT giant Netflix, where it was released last month. Laal Singh Chaddha’s co-star Mana Vij, expressed his displeasure over the whole boycott trend which led to producers suffering huge losses.
In an interview with Mid Day, the actor said that the people should now apologise to the star cast for boycotting the movie in theatres and loving the same on OTT. Further ahead, the actor slammed the audience for their act of ‘stupidity’, as he said that should transfer money to Aamir Khan Productions to compensate for the losses.
Meanwhile, Aamir has stepped down from acting part for remake of Spanish movie, Campeones. The actor will still produce the movie.
