Bollywood couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are creating quite a buzz after Alia took to her Instagram handle and announced her pregnancy, earlier this week. Alia shared the big news on her Instagram handle with a photo from the hospital where she was undergoing ultrasound with Ranbir, sitting by her side. She captioned the post, ‘our baby coming soon.’

While everyone is excited to welcome the new member into the family, an old interview of Ranbir’s father, late actor Rishi Kapoor has been surfacing online where he talked about his desire of spending time with Ranbir’s kids. Rishi was quoted saying, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, and Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.” All we can think of is how Rishi would still be alive and want to cherish this wholesome moment, now that Alia and Ranbir are expecting their first child.

Even Alia’s father and filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt said that he will have to prepare for the most important role of his life. He said, “Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a Grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut.”
