From lead actress in Kisna to becoming a dance instructor, this is Isha Sharvani

The actress, who rose to fame with her debut movie Kisna: The Warrior Poet, Isha Sharvani has stayed away from a screen for a long time now. Isha Sharvani was born on September 29, 1984.

She is the daughter of renowned dancer Daksha Seth and Australian musician, a composer and a photographer Devissaro. Though Isha was born in Delhi but she grew up in various parts of the country including Vrindavan, Bangalore and Kerala.

Isha Sharvani spent over a decade learning various dance forms at her mother’s art school in Kerala, she loved dancing since the age of two. Isha’s family is deeply rooted in Indian art and culture.

Her mother, Daksha Seth, runs a dance gurukul. Her father on the other hand was on a Buddhist pilgrimage in the early 80s and had come to Delhi to study Hindustani music.

Isha Sharvani was 20 when she was offered Subhash Ghai’s film Kisna: The Warrior Poet. Her debut was very powerful and she impressed everyone with her fine performance and dancing skills. But, that was all, she couldn’t find success in Bollywood after that.

Isha even mentioned this on her blog that she never thought she would enter in the film industry. She also mentioned that stage was her love and that’s all she was looking for in the very few movies she did after Kisna. Darwaza Bandh Rakho, Rocky: The Rebel, Good Boy, Bad Boy, U, Me aur Hum, Luck by Chance, David are a few movies that Isha did.

But now Isha Sharvani has been keeping busy with her new dance production Sari. She works there along with her brother Tao Issaro. She is also a Yoga trainer and a dance instructor.

Isha Sharvani is a single mother to her four-year-old son Luca. She is raising her child on her own. Isha is often seen sharing cute pictures with her cute son on her Instagram page. There is no denying that she is enjoying the phase of being a mother.
