Jacqueline Fernandez has been in the news recently for a variety of reasons. According to sources, Jacqueline was halted by immigration officials at the Mumbai airport on Sunday due to a LOC (Look Out Circular). In the Sukesh Chandrasekhar case, the Enforcement Directorate has issued a LOC against the actress. The actress from Bhoot Police wanted to go to Dubai for a show. After a brief interrogation, Jacqueline was permitted to leave. She has been informed that she must appear before a Delhi-based investigation agency.

In a money laundering case, the probe agency has filed a charge sheet in Delhi court against conman Sukesh and others, alleging that while in Tihar jail, he extorted Rs 200 crore from a businessman’s wife. Sukesh, a conman, sent money to Jacqueline.

According to sources, the conman gave Jacqueline a horse worth Rs 52 lakh, diamond-studded jewellery, and a Persian cat worth Rs 9 lakh, according to the ED’s charge sheet. Nora Fatehi was also questioned in the same matter a few days earlier.

On behalf of the actress, a statement was released. It said, “Nora Fatehi, who was a victim in the crime and is now a witness, is cooperating and assisting the investigators in their investigation. We want to be clear that she was not involved in any money laundering activities, that she does not know or have any personal ties to the accused, and that she was just summoned by the ED to assist with the investigation.”
