Devdas is among the best movies of Bollywood and it is considered as a masterpiece which portrayed the acting, dialoges and characters in a remarkable way. On July 12, Devdas completed 18 years of success in the cine business and the stars of this movie are gratified for being a part of this classic.
On this special occasion, lead actress Madhuri Dixit shared a heartfelt note for legendary choreographer, Saroj Khan. Madhuri revealed how she used to slip on floor while practising for the song Maar Dala and Saroj Khan used to tell her she can do better than this.
Madhuri shared a video in which she could be seen dancing with Saroj Khan on the song Maar Dala. While sharing the video, she wrote— ‘Today as we mark #18YearsOfDevdas I dedicate it to the force behind one of my finest dance performances in the film – Saroj ji.’ Check out the video below:
Talking about the song, Madhuri revealed that, they never used to think of doing easy steps as they always tried to include hard steps in their dance and this song has so many such steps in it. Further she revelaed the signature Maar Dala step in which she had to turn on her knees and then bend was the toughest and Saroj Khan kept on saying you can do better at this step. In the end, Madhuri said, Saroj Khan was impressed by her performance and she also praised her after the packup.
